Excellent spot to enjoy a relaxing jungle experience. Short drive to the beach. Home was in excellent condition. Also, the price was reasonable. Definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Peter!
Breathtaking! Absolutely breathtaking! The property has a beautiful trail! We were able to see toucans, frogs turtles and more! not only that but it’s only a short walk to an absolutely amazing waterfall, and two delicious restaurants. The best part was Peters host, Anja. She not only made check in a breeze, with perfect communication. but she also went above and beyond for us answering all kinds of questions and even making sure we caught the right bus! Gorgeous place, even better host!! 100% recommended
Very nice place, my husband and I recommend it! I was at first worried about no A/C, but Anja was right, it gets so fresh at night, that it wasn’t an issue at all. The design of the entire place was very unique and beautiful and the terrace was really cool.
We have stayed 3 nights in this beautiful jungle tree house and it was amazing The house is perfect as seen in photos, clean, everything you need are there and we have been welcome by Anja so easy check in. Location is 20 mins from Dominical in the main road so easy to find. The view from the balcony is amazing !! Jungle everywhere We have seen toucan, birds and small agouti ! I recommend this place. There was a little of Road noise ( trucks ) from the main road but it wasn’t a problem at all x
This was our favorite Airbnb we stayed at during our stay in Costa Rica! The home is so unique and there’s an awesome trail in the backyard that is quite the little hike! We were pleasantly surprised. We were able to hang out on the back porch and watch toucans fly around and watch us from the branches. And if you look up while sitting there you will see the two cutest little bats! What an amazing stay, highly recommend!
This Airbnb is beautiful and fun to stay at; it’s close to the busy traffic corridor between Dominical and San Isidro, but despite the traffic noise, we had deep and restful sleeps for five nights; delightful enchanted place; highly recommend it; and the host is a cheerful spirit!
This place is cool. The wildlife can come right on to the property. The howler monkeys are always around somewhere and there are many colourful birds flitting around. The manager of this place is on site and always available to help – whether you just need some extra towels or if you need to organise a ride to the airport.
The jungle house was perfect for the four of us. Everything about it was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The only thing that was a downfall was the trucks driving on the road at all hours of the night. Other than that we loved the place and would definitely recommend this airbnb.
i could try to describe all the wonderful things about this place but it would take too long as there were so many! I didn’t want to leave, enough said. I saw that people complained about the noise of the cars on the street but it did not bother me because I thought the loud jungle sounds drowned it out. I heard that they will build a barrier to help the sound. I highly recommend it booking this oasis. Also it’s located next to the best waterfalls!
Absolutely loved our bungalow. Our kids were in heaven and I loved sitting on the back porch looking out over the forest. Plenty of room for our family of six. The walk through the forest behind our place was really fun as well. My only request would be that anyone could use the pool, not just those in that building. My kids really wanted to go in. Thanks again! Would love to stay longer.
This bungalow is charming in the traditional Costa Rican style. We enjoyed hearing Howler Monkeys not too far away. Our only real concern is that the price is a bit high–seems like $100-$120 would be more appropriate. But we enjoyed it none-the-less. And it’s quick close to the stunning and wonderful Nauyaca Waterfalls. And I’m told there is another excellent falls nearby but didn’t have the opportunity to pursue that–there’s always next time! These two North Carolinians continue to love Costa Rica!

A beautiful lodge situated in the jungle 15 minutes drive from Dominical. It was overall a great stay but we did have a love hate relationship with the Airbnb. We loved our host Anja, she was very friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular and we did see lots of birds, bats and spiders. Downside is the bedroom has no blinds so we had blasting sun in our eyes from early in the morning (great for you if you’re an early riser though). Also for some reason every time a truck drove past, it’s like the noise got amplified into the valley and it made sleeping through the night difficult on top of the heat. There were other interesting animal noise like howler monkeys in the morning, dogs and the cicadas were so loud they were shaking my ear drums. There are earplugs in the lodge for this reason. Other than that we had a great stay despite of the noise at night. It’s a great place if you love being in one with the nature and you appreciate being surrounded by wildlife.
The Jungle Bungalow was exactly what we were looking for. It was a comfortable, relaxing stay nestled right in the jungle. The view was amazing! Anja was helpful and responsive with communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, if you stay here or in the area you have to eat at Mama Sondra’s! It was some of the best food we have ever had in Costa Rica and the owner is a genuinely great person! It is worth noting that this property is right off a fairly busy road with considerable truck traffic. We got used to it pretty quickly, and you can’t see the traffic from the house, only hear it. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in this area!
The Jungle House surpassed expectations. It felt so heavenly. Amazing to wake up to a sunrise over the mountains and enjoy coffee on the balcony. The Nauyaca waterfall is so close. My husband and I hiked to it and back (8 miles round trip) from the air bnb. Thankful for such a beautiful stay!

Amazing place in the middle of the nature. We only spend 1 night there but wished we could stay longer. Arrival was very smooth, and the house was beyond our expectations. Highly recommendable!

The Villa is amazing, fully equipped, perfect location, near Nauyaca & Ecochontales Waterfalls, and also, from South Pacific Coast. Anja’s very sweet and nice. Recommended spot!
WOW! was just there with my husband and 8 month old baby! Very beautiful space! This house was magical with a beautiful comfortable kitchen, large bed that fit the 3 of us, they also accommodate us with baby bed that we used for outside! Nice pool, clean, and the views are spectacular and amazing!!!!! Enjoyed every second! The host was incredibly sweet and helpful, we were lucky to meet another great human being!!!

Paradise Lodge is a magical place. A circular wood and bamboo elevated cabin with lots of glass that invites the green jungle in. The loft was so fun, and the bathroom felt like showering in the trees. Anja was the most welcoming, sweet host! We so enjoyed chatting with her, and she was incredibly responsive and kind. The Lodge is also ideally located in the Baru mountains – close to Dominical and the beach and close to Tinamaste/Las Tumbas near the summit of the mountains. As a result, it has a wonderful climate – not too hot and not too foggy/chilly like the top of the mountain. So much to do in the area too – Nauyaca is not to be missed, and if you like chocolate, Cacao Magic House in Las Tumbas is great! Soda La Peña and the family who run it are wonderful for traditional Costa Rican fare. A fantastic stay! Book away!

WOW! First, I don’t think the pictures could do this place justice. It was so gorgeous and really big space. Easily could do a family of 4 or 5. The location is perfectly located in the mountains. On the property we saw plenty of amazing wild life, felt safe & had all the necessary comforts. Quick drive to epic surf, waterfalls & restaurants! Jungle house embodies “Pura Vida!” Big thanks to Anja & Raymond for being the best hosts ever!
Enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. Anja was so sweet, funny & helpful. Great place to stay if you’re doing the waterfall cave camping(25min away). It was our second to last night in CR so we took our self administered home covid test online right there on their beautiful deck w/epic view:) Kitchen is huge & well equipped w/basics to cook a great meal. We didn’t get a chance to visit the nearby waterfalls on our short stay but wished we could have. Saw my first hooded leaf mantis, teal & gold cicada and striped hawkmoth caterpillars! Loved this little oasis in the mountain!
We absolutely loved staying here! It was better than expected. Our kids are wanting to go back. The view is amazing and we saw lots of wildlife from the patio. We didn’t want to leave this place. If you want a jungle experience, this is the place! Will defiantly stay here again. The host went out of her way to make sure we were all situated, and we enjoyed talking to her. This place is amazing and was truly one of the highlights of our trip. I will definitely come back here and spend more time one day. Anja was a great hostess, and made us feel welcome. Coffee on the deck in the morning was beautiful, and I’m pretty sure taking a shower with views of the jungle like that was the best shower I’ve ever had! Definitely book two or more days here to fully enjoy. They even had a blender to make smoothies/juices, which I really enjoyed.
Gorgeous jungle hideaway. Loved how beautiful the surroundings were. So nice to sit out on the back deck and watch the rain and the wildlife. Comfy and homey. Kitchen big enough to cook in.
We had a wonderful stay at the Jungle house! The structure is clean and newer. Loved all the windows and really enjoyed the balcony. Great location for quickly getting to attractions. Even though it is on a main road, the gate really helps and we felt secluded. The property manager was very responsive. I definitely recommend this to couples or families.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Anja empfangen. Die Kommunikation lief super und bei Fragen etc hat sie schnell geholfen. Die Ferienwohnung hat einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum mit offener Küche. Es gibt 6 einzelne Zimmer mit Badezimmern, also ideal auch für größere Gruppen. Wir hatten da große mit Whirlpool. Die Terrasse mit Sonnensegel, großem Tisch, Pool und Dusche lädt dazu ein de ganzen Tag dort zu bleiben.

WOW!!! Is all I can say… don’t even hesitate if you are looking for a place in the surrounding area. Paradise Lodge is exactly what it is. PARADISE and a experience to truly feel away from “it all” We stayed at the pool house and by chance had the entire place to ourselves! A pool, the in room hot tub, a beautiful deck with private entrance overlooking the jungle etc. All of the spaces were immaculate, the gardens are gorgeous and the architecture has beautiful m touches of creativity . Anja and the staff really go all out and were very sweet and helpful during our stay. They are clearing a beautiful path on the property to take you over to where the waterfalls are. I miss it already!! ❤️
We enjoyed our stay as family very much. Thought through equipment, great hospitality. The jungle view and the morning sun on the balcony is uplifting , safe for children to play in the garden.Everything there , what needed, high standard, absolute no mould smell. The noise from the street was less then we expected- though it is there. Thank you very much, we recommend and are happy to visit again.

This is a gorgeous „tree house“ with an absolutely amazing balcony, and the set up of the „house“ itself is also really nice and comfortable–couch, comfortable dining table, little kitchen. The BEST view from your shower that you will ever, ever have! Pablo is super responsive and helpful–helped us get a taxi whenever we needed it, helped with our ginormous and overly heavy luggage, and responded to our questions with great recommendations. The tree house is not „walkable“–there is nothing really around it to walk to and no hiking trails or anything like that. The cab ride to the beach & town is 15 min (not 10) and roughly $16-17 each way. Just something to be aware of and add into your financial calculations. The Nauyaca waterfall horseback riding excursion IS really close, is $80 / person, and is totally worth it! Pablo can book this or any other excursion for you. Beautiful waterfalls!!!

This place was awesome! Loved the eco friendly touch – everything made out of wood. Very close to nauyaca waterfalls. Very helpful & kind host. Everything was great.
Nice place specially if you want to be close to Dominical and the Nauyaca waterfalls. The property manager is super nice and always prompt to answer any questions or requests for information. A couple of things to keep in mind (it won’t deter us for booking the place again but as info). Bathroom is outside of bungalow. One can hear the cars passing by. There is a walk between the entrance and the bungalow. Take an umbrella and a flashlight.

Pablo was such a great host, the space is absolutely beautiful and I had such a wonderful stay. I walked about 2km up the mountain to a small restaurant, got some amazing food, beautiful views. Loved this place so much.
Pablo was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. Although there is some traffic noise, the view is very beautiful and peaceful.
We had a wonderful time at the Jungle Lodge. Pablo was helpful and responsive. The lodge was a pleasant experience and hummingbirds frequented the trees near the patio.
We loved this glorious home, creatively and thoughtfully designed with a spectacular natural footprint in the middle of a lush jungle. Pablo met us and was immediately responsive to every question and request; warm, thoughtful and knowledgeable. It was wonderful to use the whole home for our party of ten, and the extra touches made our stay magical. We look forward to returning soon and often!!!
This place is amazing. Beautiful surroundings and it felt so earthy and peaceful (even though it is near the road and you could sometimes hear the cars). I would definitely stay here again! This place is absolutely gorgeous, so many cool details put into the building construction. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Everything was clean. Great location next to Nauyanca waterfalls and Reptilandia (is what I’d say if everything wasn’t shut down due to coronavirus 😉 ), and short drive to dominical. Awesome view of the valley with tons of Birdlife flying by (including 7 toucans each afternoon we were there). Check in was ready. I’d highly recommend this place.
An ideal place to stay for one or two nights, very close to Nauyaka Falls (which were closed unfortunately due to Corona times). Please note that you have to share the common room, garden and pool. But there is enough space for everyone. We felt a bit hot in our room at night inspite of having a fan.
This beautiful place is a gem! Next to the falls and peaceful. Like others, I saw growler monkeys and toucans. Sweet smelling ylang ylang tree in the yard. Pool was refreshing after hiking. I stayed in the main house and the kitchen was well stocked. Most importantly, I felt safe and for the price this was the cleanest air bnb I stayed at throughout my 10 weeks in Central America. Of course, being so close to nature you’ll encounter some insects here and there. I didn’t mind the trucks like other travelers but that’s probably because I’m from NYC and LA and I’ve learned to tune that out. The noise is really quite minimal. The property manager Pablo and the rest of the staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. The dogs were really sweet! I’d recommend a rental car since you are on the mountain (unless you’re staying a short amount of time then the bus is convenient). I was there two weeks and would have stayed longer if I had a car. Beautiful property, amazing views. Outdoor kitchen and bathroom had everything you needed. Highway traffic can be a bit loud at night so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Jungle hike on the property was a nice escape as well
This is such a unique and beautiful space. It feels like you’re in a cabin in the middle of the jungle when in fact you’re so close to Dominical and Uvita. If you want a peaceful retreat this is the place to come. When we first pulled in we saw 2 Aracaris, and we knew we had come to the right place! It feels a bit like glamping as the house is surrounded by screened in windows so you can hear and see all the life of the forest. Just fabulous!! Pablo was so inviting and took us on a tour of the other buildings on the property which were just as unique. Really made us feel welcome and at home. We will be back!
Pablo was an amazing host, we enjoyed him and his hospitality. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to share local information along with making us reservations. We truly appreciated the bag, it will be a keepsake. The house was so unique, we fell in luv with it. I even had to try the slide. A nice open space where you could mingle with other guest. Your private room had a bathroom attached. Our room was extra special as we had a crawl through window which lead to the refreshing pool. Did I mention the beautiful mosaic artwork in the bathroom. So bright and happy. The extras were thought off… they had a telescope you can view the animals up close. A pool which you could take a refreshing dip and relaxing chairs to enjoy. The kitchen had everything imaginable to make a special meal and/or keep your drinks/fruits chilled. We had a great stay at Paradise Lodge in the Temple. The view out the front doors is beautiful and the Temple itself is a very interesting building. Pablo was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We also had a great dinner at Natuga (about 300m or so down the road).

The Paradise Lodge is definitely worth the name! The view into the wild nature (we could even spot a tucan!) is incredible and the whole lodge is just beautiful. One of the nicest places we visited in Costa Rica, with great staff as well.

The jungle house is everything you see in the pictures and so much more. It’s incredibly easy to find and check-in was a breeze. Pablo was very responsive and had recommendations for activities in addition to the information in the house. The location is just off the main road but the property was developed to keep the jungle feel. We loved sitting on the back porch and just listening to all the birds and insects. The house was very clean and brilliantly crafted inside. The host was very accommodating and allowed for a late check-out so that we could get a morning hike in at the nearby Nauyaca Falls without having to leave all of our belongings in the car. My only complaint is that I only spent one night here. I’ll definitely look to come back and spend more time.

Our short stay was amazing. Pablo is a very sympatic and very effort person. We felt really good at this place. It has a very special feeling. There is also a beautiful garden area with a terrace and a pool to relax. Beautiful lodge with great amenities. Really cool style with the ‘open’ kitchen and bathroom surrounding the back of the lodge. Absolutely perfect location if you are wanting to go to Nauyaca Waterfalls – we walked from the lodge to the entrance of the falls. Really peaceful vibe and lots to do within the complex if you have time. Would highly recommend. Thanks

First off, the actual room itself was amazing. My only regret is that I had to rush out in the AM. Pablo was an excellent communicator and flexible with my check-in time as I was making a 6 hour drive to get there. I wanted to go on a night walk to see frogs etc. and by chance the owners were there and about to go on one, they let me join and were very friendly.

The bungalow is on a mountain in the middle of the jungle. It was clean, spacious and really cute style. The view in the morning is amazing and Pablo is such a kind and helpful Host. The only disturbing thing was the road behind where you can hear every truck passing, but apart of that we really enjoyed our stay.

Would definitely recommend staying here. Pablo was extremely helpful with local advice and the house was clean and in a good place to see the waterfall. We stayed two nights and left feeling very relaxed.

Minutes from Dominical little village; there was a book in room as well that described other areas to check out with pictures. The property is quiet but with lots of wildlife still. Great place to stay!

The location is awesome with a killer view of the mountains. Close to Dominical for surfing and Nauyaca Falls. The arrangement of the property is well thought-out and promotes a community atmosphere. Pablo is incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive. He went above and beyond to help us with an issue which made it possible for us to make our flight. The grounds are clean and well maintained.

We saw lots of birds, toucans, hummingbirds, and many others that I don’t know by name. Close to the office of Nauyaca Falls, the Tuesday market in Tinamaste, near Dominical and on the way to San Isidro. It is a great location.

Au milieu de la jungle une belle cabane très propre bien équipée avec un accueil très chaleureux de Pablo . Il est réactif et toujours prêt vous faire plaisir et partager une discussion au bord de la piscine ou autour d’un café. Le personnel est très discret et le chien de la maison bien éduqué et câlin . Il y a de quoi se faire à manger sur place avec un épicier pas loin . On s’endort avec la lumière de la lune et on se réveille par le chant des oiseaux

Such an amazing place, the unique circular design and rustic aesthetic gives off a cozy magical vibe from the moment you walk through the door! The sounds of nature and stunning views from the deck makes you feel like you are deep in the jungle, yet the location is conveniently located nearby towns, Nauyaca Falls and paved roads (which is a huge plus if you’re looking to avoid those bumpy rough off-roads that Costa Rica is known for). Pablo was our host, he was very responsive, efficient and super-friendly. All the amenities were modern and worked great and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. Our stay here was an absolutely delightful and memorable experience!

The Jungle house is truly an amazing place to stay, relax and enjoy the nature all around. With its original shape, you feel like you’re suspended in the wilderness. The premises are simple yet fully equipped, clean, practical and cosy, surrounded by a balcony with a stunning view. You wake up to the sound of birds, sunbathing at the break of dawn. The large property around is awesome, birds and flowers all around and the location is very close to many sites of interest like the Nauyaca waterfalls, National Park Ballena, Dominical, Playa Hermosa (better with a car however)… Jip our host was very helpful, kind and always available for any question or advice. Jip’s place was beautiful on a stunning property with views of the mountains, wildlife, and the rainforest. Jip was kind enough to meet us in dominical and show us to the property and explain everything to us. The actual house was so beautiful and romantic, we would have loved to stay langer! lt was also in a good location near the waterfalls and about 15 min drive from Dominical.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Paradise Lodge war buchstäblich paradiesisch. Wir wurden herzlich von Jürgen und Jorge empfangen und haben zahlreiche Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants erhalten. ,,Hausmeister“ Jorge hat sogar zwei mal für uns gekocht (es war unglaublich lecker) und eine tolle Führung zum versteckten Wasserfall auf dem Grundstück gegeben. Die Außenküche war ganz toll, ein herrliches Gefühl, draußen zu kochen. Vor dem Häuschen kann man ins Tal blicken und zahlreiche Tiere, wie Tukane, Schmetterlinge, Frösche und Echsen beobachten. Es kommt ein richtiges Urwaldfeeling auf, gemischt mit wohliger Gemütlichkeit. Wirklich toll, vielen Dank für alles, Jürgen und Jorge!
Excellent location with a breath taking view. Jip is an outstanding host who was there to assist us whenever we needed it. This area offers endless opportunities to explore and experience the beauty of Costa Rica without overwhelming tourists. The waterfall is literally 2 minute drive down the road and the coast is roughly 15 minute drive. Thank you again Jip for an amazing stay.
Sfeervol ingerichte ruimte en uitzonderlijk voor Costricaanse begrippen een warme douche. Vanuit deze lokatie kan je de mooiste uitstapjes maken zoals een wandeling naar de watervallen slechts op 500 meter is de ingang. En niet te vergeten de prachtig verborgen stranden, vraag Jip hoe daar te komen. Kortom een top plek.

Tode estuvo muy bien, desde la respuesta cuando reservamos, se nos contacto luego para dar indicaciones de c6mo llegar y nos espero en la entrada para darnos la bienvenida, las instalaciones muy limpias, 100% como se ve en las fotos, se vefan las estrellas espectacular, desde la terraza hay muy buena vista, se puede apreciar la catarata Nauyaca desde ahf con binoculares, en medio de naturaleza, llevar repelente ya que hay bastantes insectos! muchas gracias!
Un sejour memorable dans la Junglehouse pour notre famille de3. On avait la visite des toucans a tous les matins et en fin d’apres-midi. On se sentait vraiment dans la jungle! Nous avons beaucoup apprecie l’es recommandations et discussions avec Jorges.
Beautiful, round, virtually new room, with the best bed and linens of the many places we stayed in CR. The adjacent bathroom is stylish too, and the kitchen has all we needed to cater for ourselves. Though the place is 12 minutes drive from Dominical, it is much higher and therefore much cooler at night for sleeping. Jip was very helpful at our arrival, and Jorge looked after us during our stay. Recommended.
Jip was amazing, we got in very late and he waited for us at the entrance to show us to the bungalow. The space gave us the real Costa Rica experience. Waking up and opening your front door to the amazing view is indescribable. We ended up staying there during cicada season, which was a surprise, but it added to the real jungle feel 😉 Overall, we really enjoyed our „glamping“ experience at the Yoga Bungalow.

This Bungalow was a little piece of heaven! Absolutely amazing way to take in the views of Costa Rica and the Dominical Region! lf you love nature this is the place for you! PS the outdoor shower is fantastic!! lt allowed us to escape into nature and tour the area! The Bungalow is minutes away from Nauyaca Waterfalls, Playa Dominical, Quepos, Uvita, Several National Parks, and Whale Tail! lt’s a must stay! We will be coming back again! Couples if you are looking for a little romance this Bungalow is for you!!
The house was amazing, it’s very unique and it is so much nicer than it looked on the pictures, we were very confortable in there. Jip was a great host, really friendly and attentive since we got there. And Gaya their dog, is so sweet, she was a perfect companion for us. We enjoyed our stay and we would totally recommend this house if you’re looking for a peaceful, surrounded by nature place to relax and spend your vacation

Unsere Zeit hier war absolut perfekt! Der Bungalow ist großartig, luxuriös und die Umgebung ist so gut! Wir machten eine von Jip organisierte Walbeobachtungstour – nur 4 Personen an Bord und nicht teuer. Wir haben Wale gesehen, so toll! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wenn es nicht andere Gegenden in Costa Rica gibt, die wir sehen wollten, wären wir für immer geblieben. Die Kulisse und Landschaft ist atemberaubend, der Bungalow ist fantastisch und vor allem Jip und Jorge waren wundervolle Gastgeber. Dieser Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser sein können und wir hoffen alle, eines Tages wiederkommen zu können. Das Gebiet hat alles leicht zur Verfügung: Wälder, Strände, Wasserfälle. Was für ein gurky Ort !!! Wir hatten vier wundervolle Nächte im Dschungel-Bungalow, beobachteten die Vögel und Käfer von unserem Balkon aus und wachten auf, als ob er im Dschungel klingt. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit auf Jips 2-stündiger Wanderung verbracht. Durch kristallklares Wasser watscheln und die Ruhe genießen, die nur durch ein Faultier (das erste unserer Reise) besser wurde !!! Jip war der perfekte Gastgeber und hatte großartige Vorschläge für Orte, die wir besuchen könnten. Wir wünschen uns nur, dass wir zu Hause ein rundes Haus bauen könnten !!

Drei fantastische Tage im Paradies! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier in Paradise Lodge! Unser Gastgeber Jip machte unseren Aufenthalt fantastisch. Er gab uns zwei Stunden Wanderung im Dschungel. Er gab uns wirklich gute Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten. Er ist auch Spezialist für Massagetherapie! Sein Hund „Gaya“ ist unglaublich und liebevoll. Wir fühlten uns wirklich wie zu Hause und wollten nie gehen. Danke Jip, wir kommen wieder!

Breathtaking! Absolutely breathtaking! The property has a beautiful trail! We were able to see toucans, frogs turtles and more! not only that but it’s only a short walk to an absolutely amazing waterfall, and two delicious restaurants. The best part was Peters host, Anja. She not only made check in a breeze, with perfect communication. but she also went above and beyond for us answering all kinds of questions and even making sure we caught the right bus! Gorgeous place, even better host!! 100% recommended

Very nice place, my husband and I recommend it! I was at first worried about no A/C, but Anja was right, it gets so fresh at night, that it wasn’t an issue at all. The design of the entire place was very unique and beautiful and the terrace was really cool.

We have stayed 3 nights in this beautiful jungle tree house and it was amazing The house is perfect as seen in photos, clean, everything you need are there and we have been welcome by Anja so easy check in. Location is 20 mins from Dominical in the main road so easy to find. The view from the balcony is amazing !! Jungle everywhere We have seen toucan, birds and small agouti ! I recommend this place. There was a little of Road noise ( trucks ) from the main road but it wasn’t a problem at all x

This was our favorite Airbnb we stayed at during our stay in Costa Rica! The home is so unique and there’s an awesome trail in the backyard that is quite the little hike! We were pleasantly surprised. We were able to hang out on the back porch and watch toucans fly around and watch us from the branches. And if you look up while sitting there you will see the two cutest little bats! What an amazing stay, highly recommend!

This Airbnb is beautiful and fun to stay at; it’s close to the busy traffic corridor between Dominical and San Isidro, but despite the traffic noise, we had deep and restful sleeps for five nights; delightful enchanted place; highly recommend it; and the host is a cheerful spirit!

This place is cool. The wildlife can come right on to the property. The howler monkeys are always around somewhere and there are many colourful birds flitting around. The manager of this place is on site and always available to help – whether you just need some extra towels or if you need to organise a ride to the airport.

The jungle house was perfect for the four of us. Everything about it was great and exactly as shown in the pictures. The only thing that was a downfall was the trucks driving on the road at all hours of the night. Other than that we loved the place and would definitely recommend this airbnb.

i could try to describe all the wonderful things about this place but it would take too long as there were so many! I didn’t want to leave, enough said. I saw that people complained about the noise of the cars on the street but it did not bother me because I thought the loud jungle sounds drowned it out. I heard that they will build a barrier to help the sound. I highly recommend it booking this oasis. Also it’s located next to the best waterfalls!

Absolutely loved our bungalow. Our kids were in heaven and I loved sitting on the back porch looking out over the forest. Plenty of room for our family of six. The walk through the forest behind our place was really fun as well. My only request would be that anyone could use the pool, not just those in that building. My kids really wanted to go in. Thanks again! Would love to stay longer.

This bungalow is charming in the traditional Costa Rican style. We enjoyed hearing Howler Monkeys not too far away. Our only real concern is that the price is a bit high–seems like $100-$120 would be more appropriate. But we enjoyed it none-the-less. And it’s quick close to the stunning and wonderful Nauyaca Waterfalls. And I’m told there is another excellent falls nearby but didn’t have the opportunity to pursue that–there’s always next time! These two North Carolinians continue to love Costa Rica!

A beautiful lodge situated in the jungle 15 minutes drive from Dominical. It was overall a great stay but we did have a love hate relationship with the Airbnb. We loved our host Anja, she was very friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular and we did see lots of birds, bats and spiders. Downside is the bedroom has no blinds so we had blasting sun in our eyes from early in the morning (great for you if you’re an early riser though). Also for some reason every time a truck drove past, it’s like the noise got amplified into the valley and it made sleeping through the night difficult on top of the heat. There were other interesting animal noise like howler monkeys in the morning, dogs and the cicadas were so loud they were shaking my ear drums. There are earplugs in the lodge for this reason. Other than that we had a great stay despite of the noise at night. It’s a great place if you love being in one with the nature and you appreciate being surrounded by wildlife.

The Jungle Bungalow was exactly what we were looking for. It was a comfortable, relaxing stay nestled right in the jungle. The view was amazing! Anja was helpful and responsive with communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, if you stay here or in the area you have to eat at Mama Sondra’s! It was some of the best food we have ever had in Costa Rica and the owner is a genuinely great person! It is worth noting that this property is right off a fairly busy road with considerable truck traffic. We got used to it pretty quickly, and you can’t see the traffic from the house, only hear it. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in this area!

The Jungle House surpassed expectations. It felt so heavenly. Amazing to wake up to a sunrise over the mountains and enjoy coffee on the balcony. The Nauyaca waterfall is so close. My husband and I hiked to it and back (8 miles round trip) from the air bnb. Thankful for such a beautiful stay!

WOW! was just there with my husband and 8 month old baby! Very beautiful space! This house was magical with a beautiful comfortable kitchen, large bed that fit the 3 of us, they also accommodate us with baby bed that we used for outside! Nice pool, clean, and the views are spectacular and amazing!!!!! Enjoyed every second! The host was incredibly sweet and helpful, we were lucky to meet another great human being!!!

Paradise Lodge is a magical place. A circular wood and bamboo elevated cabin with lots of glass that invites the green jungle in. The loft was so fun, and the bathroom felt like showering in the trees. Anja was the most welcoming, sweet host! We so enjoyed chatting with her, and she was incredibly responsive and kind. The Lodge is also ideally located in the Baru mountains – close to Dominical and the beach and close to Tinamaste/Las Tumbas near the summit of the mountains. As a result, it has a wonderful climate – not too hot and not too foggy/chilly like the top of the mountain. So much to do in the area too – Nauyaca is not to be missed, and if you like chocolate, Cacao Magic House in Las Tumbas is great! Soda La Peña and the family who run it are wonderful for traditional Costa Rican fare. A fantastic stay! Book away!

WOW! First, I don’t think the pictures could do this place justice. It was so gorgeous and really big space. Easily could do a family of 4 or 5. The location is perfectly located in the mountains. Enjoyed our stay on this beautiful property. Anja was so sweet, funny & helpful. Great place to stay if you’re doing the waterfall cave camping(25min away). It was our second to last night in CR so we took our self administered home covid test online right there on their beautiful deck w/epic view:) Kitchen is huge & well equipped w/basics to cook a great meal. We didn’t get a chance to visit the nearby waterfalls on our short stay but wished we could have. Saw my first hooded leaf mantis, teal & gold cicada and striped hawkmoth caterpillars! Loved this little oasis in the mountain!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was better than expected. Our kids are wanting to go back. The view is amazing and we saw lots of wildlife from the patio. We didn’t want to leave this place. Great location for quickly getting to attractions. Even though it is on a main road, the gate really helps and we felt secluded. The property manager was very responsive. I definitely recommend this to couples or families.

Die Ferienwohnung hat einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum mit offener Küche. Es gibt 6 einzelne Zimmer mit Badezimmern, also ideal auch für größere Gruppen. Wir hatten da große mit Whirlpool. Die Terrasse mit Sonnensegel, großem Tisch, Pool und Dusche lädt dazu ein de ganzen Tag dort zu bleiben.

PARADISE and a experience to truly feel away from “it all” We stayed at the pool house and by chance had the entire place to ourselves! A pool, the in room hot tub, a beautiful deck with private entrance overlooking the jungle etc. All of the spaces were immaculate, the gardens are gorgeous and the architecture has beautiful m touches of creativity . Anja and the staff really go all out and were very sweet and helpful during our stay. They are clearing a beautiful path on the property to take you over to where the waterfalls are. I miss it already!! ❤️

The BEST view from your shower that you will ever, ever have! Pablo is super responsive and helpful–helped us get a taxi whenever we needed it, helped with our ginormous and overly heavy luggage, and responded to our questions with great recommendations. The tree house is not „walkable“–there is nothing really around it to walk to and no hiking trails or anything like that. The cab ride to the beach & town is 15 min (not 10) and roughly $16-17 each way. Just something to be aware of and add into your financial calculations. The Nauyaca waterfall horseback riding excursion IS really close, is $80 / person, and is totally worth it! Pablo can book this or any other excursion for you. Beautiful waterfalls!!!

The property manager is super nice and always prompt to answer any questions or requests for information. A couple of things to keep in mind (it won’t deter us for booking the place again but as info). Bathroom is outside of bungalow. One can hear the cars passing by. There is a walk between the entrance and the bungalow. Take an umbrella and a flashlight.

Everything was clean. Great location next to Nauyanca waterfalls and Reptilandia (is what I’d say if everything wasn’t shut down due to coronavirus 😉 ), and short drive to dominical. Awesome view of the valley with tons of Birdlife flying by (including 7 toucans each afternoon we were there). Check in was ready. I’d highly recommend this place.

Please note that you have to share the common room, garden and pool. But there is enough space for everyone. We felt a bit hot in our room at night inspite of having a fan.

Sweet smelling ylang ylang tree in the yard. Pool was refreshing after hiking. I stayed in the main house and the kitchen was well stocked. Most importantly, I felt safe and for the price this was the cleanest air bnb I stayed at throughout my 10 weeks in Central America. Of course, being so close to nature you’ll encounter some insects here and there. I didn’t mind the trucks like other travelers but that’s probably because I’m from NYC and LA and I’ve learned to tune that out. The noise is really quite minimal. The property manager Pablo and the rest of the staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. The dogs were really sweet! I’d recommend a rental car since you are on the mountain (unless you’re staying a short amount of time then the bus is convenient). I was there two weeks and would have stayed longer if I had a car. It feels like you’re in a cabin in the middle of the jungle when in fact you’re so close to Dominical and Uvita. If you want a peaceful retreat this is the place to come. When we first pulled in we saw 2 Aracaris, and we knew we had come to the right place! It feels a bit like glamping as the house is surrounded by screened in windows so you can hear and see all the life of the forest. Just fabulous!! Pablo was so inviting and took us on a tour of the other buildings on the property which were just as unique. Really made us feel welcome and at home. We will be back!

He was extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to share local information along with making us reservations. We truly appreciated the bag, it will be a keepsake. The house was so unique, we fell in luv with it. I even had to try the slide. A nice open space where you could mingle with other guest. Your private room had a bathroom attached. Our room was extra special as we had a crawl through window which lead to the refreshing pool. Did I mention the beautiful mosaic artwork in the bathroom. So bright and happy. The extras were thought off… they had a telescope you can view the animals up close. A pool which you could take a refreshing dip and relaxing chairs to enjoy. The kitchen had everything imaginable to make a special meal and/or keep your drinks/fruits chilled. Pablo was very responsive and had recommendations for activities in addition to the information in the house. The location is just off the main road but the property was developed to keep the jungle feel. We loved sitting on the back porch and just listening to all the birds and insects. The house was very clean and brilliantly crafted inside. The host was very accommodating and allowed for a late check-out so that we could get a morning hike in at the nearby Nauyaca Falls without having to leave all of our belongings in the car. My only complaint is that I only spent one night here. I’ll definitely look to come back and spend more time.

Pablo was an excellent communicator and flexible with my check-in time as I was making a 6 hour drive to get there. The sounds of nature and stunning views from the deck makes you feel like you are deep in the jungle, yet the location is conveniently located nearby towns, Nauyaca Falls and paved roads (which is a huge plus if you’re looking to avoid those bumpy rough off-roads that Costa Rica is known for). Pablo was our host, he was very responsive, efficient and super-friendly. All the amenities were modern and worked great and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. Our stay here was an absolutely delightful and memorable experience!

Jip was kind enough to meet us in dominical and show us to the property and explain everything to us. The actual house was so beautiful and romantic, we would have loved to stay langer! lt was also in a good location near the waterfalls and about 15 min drive from Dominical.

Wir wurden herzlich von Jürgen und Jorge empfangen und haben zahlreiche Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants erhalten. ,,Hausmeister“ Jorge hat sogar zwei mal für uns gekocht (es war unglaublich lecker) und eine tolle Führung zum versteckten Wasserfall auf dem Grundstück gegeben. Die Außenküche war ganz toll, ein herrliches Gefühl, draußen zu kochen. Vor dem Häuschen kann man ins Tal blicken und zahlreiche Tiere, wie Tukane, Schmetterlinge, Frösche und Echsen beobachten. Es kommt ein richtiges Urwaldfeeling auf, gemischt mit wohliger Gemütlichkeit. Wirklich toll, vielen Dank für alles, Jürgen und Jorge!

This area offers endless opportunities to explore and experience the beauty of Costa Rica without overwhelming tourists. The waterfall is literally 2 minute drive down the road and the coast is roughly 15 minute drive. Thank you again Jip for an amazing stay.

Vanuit deze lokatie kan je de mooiste uitstapjes maken zoals een wandeling naar de watervallen slechts op 500 meter is de ingang. En niet te vergeten de prachtig verborgen stranden, vraag Jip hoe daar te komen. Kortom een top plek.

The adjacent bathroom is stylish too, and the kitchen has all we needed to cater for ourselves. Though the place is 12 minutes drive from Dominical, it is much higher and therefore much cooler at night for sleeping. Jip was very helpful at our arrival, and Jorge looked after us during our stay. Recommended.

The space gave us the real Costa Rica experience. Waking up and opening your front door to the amazing view is indescribable. We ended up staying there during cicada season, which was a surprise, but it added to the real jungle feel 😉 Overall, we really enjoyed our „glamping“ experience at the Yoga Bungalow.

Absolutely amazing way to take in the views of Costa Rica and the Dominical Region! lf you love nature this is the place for you! PS the outdoor shower is fantastic!! lt allowed us to escape into nature and tour the area! The Bungalow is minutes away from Nauyaca Waterfalls, Playa Dominical, Quepos, Uvita, Several National Parks, and Whale Tail! lt’s a must stay! We will be coming back again! Couples if you are looking for a little romance this Bungalow is for you!!

Jip was a great host, really friendly and attentive since we got there. And Gaya their dog, is so sweet, she was a perfect companion for us. We enjoyed our stay and we would totally recommend this house if you’re looking for a peaceful, surrounded by nature place to relax and spend your vacation

Wir machten eine von Jip organisierte Walbeobachtungstour – nur 4 Personen an Bord und nicht teuer. Wir haben Wale gesehen, so toll! Wir sind auch zu den Nauyaca-Wasserfällen gegangen – und es ist wert – und den Whale Tail, beide sehr schön zu besuchen. Vielen Dank Jip und viel Glück mit Ihrem schönen Ort.

Die Kulisse und Landschaft ist atemberaubend, der Bungalow ist fantastisch und vor allem Jip und Jorge waren wundervolle Gastgeber. Dieser Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser sein können und wir hoffen alle, eines Tages wiederkommen zu können. Das Gebiet hat alles leicht zur Verfügung: Wälder, Strände, Wasserfälle. Jip gab gute Tipps, wohin es gehen sollte – Danke!

Wir hatten vier wundervolle Nächte im Dschungel-Bungalow, beobachteten die Vögel und Käfer von unserem Balkon aus und wachten auf, als ob er im Dschungel klingt. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit auf Jips 2-stündiger Wanderung verbracht. Durch kristallklares Wasser watscheln und die Ruhe genießen, die nur durch ein Faultier (das erste unserer Reise) besser wurde !!! Jip war der perfekte Gastgeber und hatte großartige Vorschläge für Orte, die wir besuchen könnten. Wir wünschen uns nur, dass wir zu Hause ein rundes Haus bauen könnten !!

Er gab uns zwei Stunden Wanderung im Dschungel. Er gab uns wirklich gute Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten. Er ist auch Spezialist für Massagetherapie! Sein Hund „Gaya“ ist unglaublich und liebevoll. Wir fühlten uns wirklich wie zu Hause und wollten nie gehen. Danke Jip, wir kommen wieder!
